| This isn't just "here's what I will be telling
your kids." Adults needs specific information and tools to be able
to weather the teen years. Its not the same talk youth will hear,
but rather a parental survival class! No matter how great your
relationship with your teen is now, it IS going to change. Smart
parents will be ready BEFORE it happens. |
Objectives:
- Equip adults to have a positive impact on youth decisions
about sex
- Debunk the strategies adults use which DON'T work
- Recognize teens process information and experiences
differently from adults,
- Take away practical, easy-to-learn techniques that are
EFFECTIVE

Karen
Kropf is both the program developer and one of the founders of
Positively Waiting! (a non-profit dedicated to promoting the
benefits of sexual self-control.) She has been exposing the lies
about sex, love and relationship since 1998. Thousands of teens
every year in public schools, youth groups - even juvenile
detention facilities - have heard Karen and her husband, Jim,
explain how their decisions to be sexually active as teens led to
permanent consequences as adults. But their story has a happy
ending because of the benefits they discovered from sexual
self-control! Karen has published two books. One for single adults,
Sex Makes people Stupid: How to Avoid Ending Up With a Weenie. And
one for parents called, Did You MEAN to Raise a Sexually Active
Teen? |
